Holy Non-existant Blogger Batman!

I know, I know. It has been forever. What can I say. I am lazy. I do plan on picking this up again though. It is long overdue.

So, let me think...stuff has happened. And continues to happen. Let me recap things since the last time I posted, which was - let me check real quick - freaking November 2012. Wow...that's a while isn't it. Six months and change.

November:
Thanksgiving. Fun times. Food, family, missing family, turkey. Kaylee had fun. Let's put it at that. We moved again. Kaylee got stuck in her dresser pretty frequently.
Please let me out!!!!!!!

How do I get out!!!!!
I know, I know....worst mom ever. I should have got her out instead of laughing and taking pictures, but, c'mon. It was funny. :)

December:
Christmas! Fun, but hard. Missed a lot of people this year. For me, my grandfather. For Grant, his mom. But we did the best we could. Monster got a lot of fun things, and her friend McKayla came to visit for Christmas too!

Baby in a stroller...that thing lasted a week.

Colorbooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOOOOOOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Horsies! And green slippers! And new clothes which I had to put on this instant!

Ah, fun times. Yes.

January:
I didn't take any pictures in January. Nevermind! I found them...on my cell phone! Hahahah! Here we go:
Her "pretty bow" that she loves, but she doesn't love it in this pic.

She likes to get on bikes. Any bike will do, doesn't matter what kind. This is her Grandma Molina's scooter.

We had so much going on . But it is important to note that Miss Monster is learning how to count, and her alphabet, and some songs. She's brilliant really, she really is.As her mom, I am required by law to say that. :)

February:
Snow.
Watch where I am going.

I can climb the snow mountain, right?

Catch a snowflake!

It's chilly!!

Hanging out.

Then there was a tricycle day.
Push with my feet.

Why am I not go?

Then a "pretty princess dress."
Pretty dress!

March:
Lunch outdoors.
Mmmmm...juice and a sammy!
Swinging.
Yay!
Learning to drive.
Yes, I'm wearing a hat.
Drawing hands.
Kaylee hands. Mommy helped.
Easter:
Egg painting.

Running for eggs.

Hanging out.

Hanging out with Daddy Monster.

April:
Got a house of my own.
Peek-a-boo!!!!

Hey! Welcome to my home!

Hi!
Asleep in my house!
 Pretty princess dress.
Pretty dress. My pretty dress.

Fixing things and gardening.
I am a natural!

I know how to weed.
May - so far. It has been an interesting month to say the least. Mommy Monster has registered for school again. I begin CNA classes at AIMS Community College. So nervous, but excited. It's going to be good. It will be my foot in the door as I move into nursing. Yep.

As far as Monster Girl goes. She is doing amazing! Like, really amazing. I can't believe how awesome she is getting. She knows most of her alphabet (the O and Q confuse her, she calls them "circles"), she can count on her own to about 14, she knows some colors, and she knows some shapes. She really is getting amazing at how much she is learning.

The only thing we have been wanting her to learn that is not coming so easily - toilet training. :( It's not very easy. We've tried a lot of methods, and can't quite figure it out. We keep working on it, but I guess we'll just have to wait this one out.
Two distinct pony tails!!!! I squee'd when I was able to get those in. :)

My first pigtails! It's actually getting long enough to do!!!!!! Mom is very happy about this.
I was able to get her hair in piggies the other day! I was super stoked. They lasted all but a few minutes, but that's okay, it's a start. :) Also, she's graduated to a big girl swing!
Serious business, this swinging thing.
It scares the crap out of me, honestly. But, many things will as she grows, I'm sure. :) So, yes. That is what, six months of crap for you to sort through. If you made it this far, I congratulate you. It took a long time to post this too. LOL. I do plan on creating a youtube channel so that I can upload videos to this blog. That will be nice. I can just video tape all this stuff, less of a pic spam for you guys.

Anyway, that's it for today. I do plan on doing this again more often. I need to. This may well have been the thing I have been missing the last few months. I think, I dunno. I'll get back to you on that. Meanwhile - enjoy this picture of Kaylee in a bucket! See you all again soon!

It's October, pt. 2!

Hooray! DaddyMonster is amazing. He remembered that our old laptop has a little SD card slot!!!! So, here is a little pic spam of Kaylee turning 2!
No clothes, preparing for the cake!

What's that?

Can I touch it?

My cake is yummy!

Grandpa is saying something important to me!

Yep, MommyMonster made a strawberry cake with vanilla whipped frosting, YUM. It was a hit. She got a lot of cool presents from everyone. And our house is now filled with the sounds of a laptop, a counting toy, and a princess song book. She also has a baby that she puts to sleep each night. :) My daughter is awesome!

Here is some more fun!!!

Princess Songbook! It's cool, has all the Disney Princesses!

Reading to her baby, wearing her pink cowboy boots!

Standing on the hippo chair in her pink boots. She never wears clothes anymore :D.

Reading to her dolly.

Brushing my teeth like a big girl!

My jammers are awesome!

She has taken to wearing MommyMonster's dress shoes:
Don't mind the mess, we were still unpacking.

Her hair is starting to curl like MommyMonster's!

So, there you go. Some pictures! I hope you enjoy them, and now that things are slowing down, well...I am sure there will be plenty more updates to come! <3 MommyMonster

Slacker Status: Achieved.

I really have been away for a while haven't I? Sorry about that, busy month and all. So, updates and picture time huh? Wewt! Quite possibly pic heavy:

Kaylee is doing well. She's growing well, and is right on target. Not overweight or underweight, just right. She's about 25 pounds right now, which is very good. I cannot remember how tall she is, but she's getting tall enough to pull things off of our dinner table, so tall-ish :)

Christmas was good for our family this year. We got to see our loved ones and we also got a visit from the elusive Aunt K who was amazing and got Kaylee this awesome pony flashlight (that Kaylee loves!). I don't have time to list every gift she got (because she did get a ton), but thanks everyone who did get her something. We love it all!

As far as things go right now, she saw her dentist Dr. Meredith for the first time in a few months! She had her first dental check up and everything looks sooo sooo good. She got her picture taken for her files again and Dr. Meredith called her "my poster child for the NAM." Which reminds me: I still have to make a scrap book for her. Yep, I will do that soon. Anyway, we were taught how to properly brush teeth, got a free toothbrush and a sparkly toy for being such a good girl. I <3 Dr. Meredith.

So, yeah, things are going good. My daughter is going good and strong and she is such a joy. She has started to babble on and on and on lately. She will sit and talk to herself for forever - she talks herself to sleep too. It's adorable. It sounds like she is forming sentences but can't quite enunciate her words just yet, which of course she is still only 15 months so yeah she wouldn't be talking like a four year old yet. :P I can't wait though, everyone tells me I will regret saying that, but really I guess I will let you all know in a few months. :)

Anyway, pictures!
Hanging with Daddy and my cousin Kaleena!

That....is a big box.

I wasn't doing anything I SWEAR!

Strike a pose...this kid loves the camera!
Clappin for the sparkly ball that daddy got from under the tv stand!

What? I'm just walking!

OMG! So tired. What can I do? I know - fall asleep in mom's computer chair.....

.....while mom is still in it.
